Job Duties and Candidate Abilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supervises the mentors all departments; front desk, housekeeping, grounds, and spa, providing motivation and promoting an environment of teamwork and positivity.
Manages online OTA partner relationships, pricing, and contracts, increasing revenue where possible.
Maximizes and manages revenue to increase room sales and profit.
Assists with budget creation and works within budgeted guidelines.
Able to read financial reports and provide feedback, provide payroll information to accounting, and assist with various HR employee related tasks.
Able to jump in where needed when needed and be flexible.
Must be able to answer phones, make reservations, assist guests with concierge type requests, assist housekeeping, morning breakfast crew, etc.
Displays a high degree of professionalism and industry knowledge.
Possesses excellent knowledge of local wineries, restaurants, and attractions in order to assist with guest questions and requests.
Addresses staff complaints and issues in a timely manner per HR protocols.
Handles guest complaints well, in a timely manner, and within brand guidelines.
Responsible for oversight of property maintenance and improvement projects.
Possibly able to do minor repairs.
Maintains the property and all of it's on-site locations, from the front desk to the housekeeping area to the rooms, with the highest standards and per brand protocols.
Must be able to be on-call after hours at certain agreed upon times in case guest issues arise.
Able to hire and train appropriate staff when needed.
Responsible for staff scheduling and time off schedules.
Able to plan and manage events and event staff.
Assist in increasing profitable corporate event bookings.
Able and unafraid to design processes and procedures that improve current efficiency and property procedures.
Ensure that the property, including the staff, exceed guest expectations.
Willing to grow and improve with the property wherever possible.

years in hospitality preferred, preferably in hotel management.
